This project facilitates transnational cooperation and is committed to co-creation and innovation which will enable overcoming differences and unite entrepreneurs around the common goals of restarting tourism more sustainably and smartly, which aligns with the double digital and ecological transition that we are currently witnessing.
By co-creating, piloting, and optimizing sophisticated and innovative technological solutions, the project will help to overcome the challenge of SMEs which oftentimes are lacking the resources and capacity to keep up with technological development, and consequently introduce innovative solutions. The project will enhance the capacities/competencies and skills needed by SMEs to improve the use of new technologies, for them to lead to new business models that will take root across Europe.
By involving SMEs from different European countries in the joint creation and testing of new solutions, the project will promote innovative solutions that can be applied in different tourism contexts.
The participation of business associations and the public sector, as well as universities, will also lead to the facilitation of dialogue and collaboration between the different public-private stakeholders. Therefore, given the nature of the consortium and the participation of academic and research institutions, the project will promote collaboration between knowledge institutions and companies, in a way that stimulates business innovation in the field of tourism in Europe.
